Since our first training academy opened its doors in 2010 in collaboration with a social landlord, college and homeless persons charity, we now have 10 academies across London’s most deprived communities. Our training academies offer a demand led training and hand on education programme, helping to plug the skills shortage in the construction sector.

The centre facilitates: Parents'n'Tots sessions including mini Parental Early Education Partnership, promoting children's learning through play, providing a venue for parent/carers to build on social skills; Weight2Go sessions promoting healthy living/weight monitoring/measurement; Provides the Loanhead venue for the SureStart initiative which supports families; hosts WednesdayClub, which caters for adults with learning difficulties, promoting social skills/learning opportunities; Two senior adult social groups which promote social inclusion by providing skills development, games, lunch to senior citizens and those with mental/physical difficulties; Supports Youth Clubs that cater for children aged between 5-16yrs; Two children's dance groups, facilitates the Community Nursery, After School Club, Breakfast Club, Saturday Club, Holiday Club providing high quality play opportunities and childcare; Community garden, the most recent addition to the services, with 2 part-time project leaders who help adults/juniors volunteer in the garden
