Founded in 1845, The Academy is the oldest continuously fully independent school in the West of Scotland. The Academy provides outstanding, all-round education for boys and girls aged 3-18. The Academy has a long history of providing Bursaries (means-tested help with fees) to talented pupils from homes of modest means. Gifts to the Bursary fund are crucial to providing fee assistance and make a real difference to the lives of many of our pupils. Many friends of the school choose to support capital projects. Without generous gifts from our community, several major building projects at Colebrooke Street - such as the Cargill Hall and the Saunders Centre - simply would not have been possible. Every gift, large or small, makes a real difference at The Glasgow Academy. Please do what you can to help.
