Birling House is situated in Snodland, Kent and welcomes residents from all over the country. We specialize in providing care for people with Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries, early onset dementia and other neurological conditions. We work to create friendly, relaxing and supporting environments which enable residents to maintain their physical and mental health, exercise choice, maximize their independence, develop interests and skills, feel safe and cared for and enjoy themselves by people they know and trust.

The main consequence is a failure to automatically control breathing, which is always present during sleep, but may occur in some individuals when they are awake.
