Shilhay Community are a registered charity based in Exeter, Devon, who support approximately 350 people per year who are homeless or vulnerably housed through street outreach, accomodation, health and wellbeing services, education, training, employment and social opportunity. Harri is recovering from an ABI (acquired brain injury) he suffered in 2001. He was bitten by a mosquito and contracted a virus, Murray Valley Encephalitis, which caused his brain to swell, as a result he is now a quadriplegic. The result is similar to cerebral palsy. Harri suffers from epilepsy and is also unable to speak. We hope to find a treatment that will aid in his recovery.
