After many years running their business in Consett, Lawrie and Joyce Barnett had a vision to give something back to the local community by opening a residential care home for the elderly. In June 1983 Rosemount was opened as a charity. With the help of many Christian friends Rosemount began to flourish. Today the same pride and attention to care is provided by the staff and we are raising money to contribute towards the upkeep and refurbishment, ensuring this great cause runs on for years to come.
