(UK, 1144587) The Paul Mervis Education Trust aims to help people from around the world gain access to education. We are registered in the UK with charity number 1144587. The charity was set up in early 2011 in the name of Lt. Paul Mervis who lost his life in Afghanistan. Paul greatly emphasised education as a means to bettering the lives of the men under his command. As a result, Paul's close friends and family started searching for a charitable project or cause that helped educate people. We are currently raising funds to build and equip the Love and Care Orphanage in Masphiphumele township, South Africa. The orphanage will provide education and sanctuary to Children affected by HIV/AIDS.
