The aim is to support local hospitals by funding equipment, services and research to assist the hospitals in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of all chest diseases. Our aid is requested by Consultant Chest Physicians and the items are not usually available from NHS sources. Our object is to ensure that Gloucestershire has 'Centres of Excellence' for the treatment of chest diseases.
