(UK, 1107745) Sethani UK is a registered charity, established in 2004 to relieve poverty in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Since 2002, we have partnered Sethani South Africa who work with the community in KwaNgcolosi, aiming to relieve poverty and to empower the community through the provision of facilities and training. KwaNgcolosi is a beautiful semi-rural tribal area of KZN, approximately 30km from Durban, overlooking Inanda Dam and part of the Valley of 1000 Hills. The community face the many challenges of poor infrastructure, educational underfunding, unemployment, sickness and a resulting increase in the number of orphans and vulnerable children. Sethani UK provides grants to pay for crèche & school support, food parcels, gardening tools & seeds, income generation projects, youth camps, sports & play equipment and other items needed in the community. We welcome all donations, large & small, which will help us to provide much-needed resources for KwaNgcolosi.
