Nigel’s philanthropic endeavours will continue to live on through the work of the Foundation which is a fitting testament to his enduring legacy and a source of great pride for his family. The Doughty Family Foundation was established in 2008 with the purpose of benefiting charitable purposes across a wide range of causes. The founders, Nigel and Lucy Doughty, had at their hearts a vision of a Foundation to improve the lives of the most vulnerable and underprivileged within society with a particular focus on healthcare, education and support for those most in need. The Foundation has supported causes in the UK focussed on the Nottingham area, and also The Dominican Republic.
