The Doughty Family Foundation is deeply saddened following the tragic and sudden death of its co-founder and Trustee Nigel Doughty. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the overwhelming wishes of support and condolence received. Nigel’s philanthropic endeavours will continue to live on through the work of the Foundation which is a fitting testament to his enduring legacy and a source of great pride for his family. The Doughty Family Foundation was established in 2008 with the purpose of benefiting charitable purposes across a wide range of causes. The founders, Nigel and Lucy Doughty, had at their hearts a vision of a Foundation to improve the lives of the most vulnerable and underprivileged within society with a particular focus on healthcare, education and support for those most in need. The Foundation has supported causes in the UK focussed on the Nottingham area, and also The Dominican Republic.
