The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SVP) is a Christian, member led organisation. We believe that everyone should have the means to live a life that reflects the basic human dignity of every person. SVP members are volunteers who provide practical help and support to people who are struggling for whatever reason. We carry out home visits in a confidential, non-judgemental and comfortable way, putting the person at the heart of all we do.

With so many wonderful non-profits in the region, why us? At Gándara, we believe in the whole being. We use wrap-around approaches to treatment. We recognize the individual’s needs but take it a step further to understand their environment, family life, all the outside elements that may be contributing to where the individual is at the moment they walk through our doors. By donating to Gándara helps us to continue our mission to promote the well-being of Hispanics, African-Americans, and other culturally diverse populations, through innovative, culturally competent behavioral health, prevention and educational services. Whether treating a mental health, substance use, or youth emotional disorder, we use compassion and expertise to make sure each individual we serve is provided with the best care available to them.
