Together, service user, volunteers, supporters and staff at the Naz Project London fought back and have managed to save our project. Through lobbying, campaigning, fundraising and raising awareness of the appeal, we as a community have successfully turned around a potentially devastating scenario of closure. Our target communities are our greatest strength. We exist only to serve them and our mission to mobilize our communities and to respond to the challenges of HIV and AIDS and sexual health underpins all that we do.Community has spoken and is with us.Grant-making Trusts noted the huge effort being made by our communities to secure NPL's future. Inspired by the way the community galvanized itself into action and responded to the funding crisis with robust pragmatism combined with passion and commitment, the Trusts felt it was truly worthwhile to get on board and support our cause. ·One provided us with access to free financial and legal advice. ·One provided us with fundraising expertise. ·And one provided us with a six-figure grant for the next three years. Our communities have given NPL a clear mandate to continue to do what we do best. And so we will!
