(UK, 305941) 1st Swindon Sea Scouts are open to all boys and girls starting as a Beaver from the age of 6, then onto Cubs at 8, right through to Scouts aged from 10 1/2 to 14. We are a Sea Sxcout unit therefore a lot of our activities are water based. The Scouts sail and Kayak through the summer months meeting at a local lake every Friday evening. the Beavers and Cubs also get to experience the water based activities at least once a year.Beside the water activities, all the sections particpate in the usual scout activities such as camping, indoor and outdoor games, cooking and badge work.
